Protein Snacks

Snacking is somewhere between a pass-time and an obsession in our country. Between meals, instead of meals, after dinner, before bed, at events, in the car...Most of us do it at least once a day and that's a good thing, in fact, we'd like to see you do it 3 times a day! Eating every 3 hours keeps your metabolism on high!

For some, it leads to trouble either through actual food content (high calorie, high fat, high sugar) or through portion size. We tend to "eat to the bottom" of whatever package we have in our hands. Finding foods that are low calorie, already portioned, tasty and easy to eat is a tall order.

The most important ingredient you can add in a snack is protein. Protein helps to keep your blood sugar levels stable, makes you feel full longer (unlike high carbohydrate snacks) and helps to maintain your lean body mass (muscle), which is essential to calorie burning.

Whether you need to stash a few in a desk drawer, your car or your briefcase, we have a wide selection of snacks that have all had extra protein added in reasonable, portable, portions. Many of our snacks are also GLUTEN FREE!
